SPX is the leading Cooling Tower manufacturer and supplier in the world. It’s an arms race to stay ahead of the competition and they pulled out all the stop for their NC Everest product launch.
Spark was tasked with creating a short video for potential buyers. The script had to be compelling and hit the pain points of end users. We also needed an on-site video to showcase the sheer size of the machine.
Instead of the typical product video that goes over facts, figures and stats that instantaneously puts the viewer to sleep, we focused on highlighting the benefits and solving the “what keeps you up at night” question.
This project included a few days of script writing, a one-day on-location video shoot, lighting, audio recording, actor, one week of editing and post-production effects. Turnaround time for a video like is generally a few weeks. Cost range is $7,000-$11,000.
Between the video we produced and the SPX internal marketing team, the NC Everest launch was the most successful product announcement to date. The cost of this effective video was minuscule in comparison to the total first-year sales of the product.
